MeG was the first ancient big battle set to ever win and award in the Wargames Illustrated annual awards (usually won by WW2/Skirmish games) taking 3rd place in their 2020 awards.

MeG won a clean sweep of first place awards in the Little Corporals annual awards taking best wargame, best new product and best new game.
