Shooting downgrades 2026

The new shooting QRS states downgraded shooting below black remains black
In melee this black die would only affect movement.  Does the shooting downgraded black die inflict wounds if rolled.

For example, unskilled skirmishers shooting from a wood would have 2 downgradeds (Unskilled and shooting in wood terrain).
Would they roll an unmodified black die, or would they treat the wound as a slow only?

That would also mean that unskilled unit could evade and shoot as well as they would if they were skirmish...

Think this is just missing words on the QRS. There is no mention of a change in the list of changes in the 2026 competition amendments.

The idea that there would be no slow only just black dice was raised in a forum post last year but I don't think it was adopted at this stage.

The words have got truncated off the sheet.  Below BLACK is slow only.
