1) Shooting at charger
P24 1.C 5.2
"where the charger's path of charge comes within 1BW"
How to define the shooting area
Is the area a rectangle with straight corners or with round corners at 1BW

2) Shooting phase
P93 7.D 6
Same question but with full range

Thanks

I don't understand the question you are asking?   What are round corners?  Rectangles, by any normal definition, do not have round corners.

the shooter's corner is more than 1 BW from the corner of the rectangle
So is the firing zone a rectangle of 1 BW x 3BW, or another shape?

I think a (non ascii) diagram would help.
"The Roman Empire was not murdered and nor did it die a natural death; it accidentally committed suicide."

I think I understand what you are asking.
There is no shooting rectangle.  If the shooting range of a base is 3BW, the gap between the shooting base and the target base must be within 3BW.
There are two separate requirements.  The base must be within range and the base must be within arc.

that's what I mean

is it the same for shooting at 1BW to shoot at chargers?

is it 1BW for the range of the weapon or is it an area of 1BW x 3BW with no specific weapon range?

lionheartrjc

Range is always measured from the shooting base to the target base.  There are no rectangles involved.
