The archers are listed as Formed Close. Is that intended ?

No, I do not believe it is intended.
I note however that it appears to have been that way in every army list since 2018....
I have also noted that this applies to the Early Tibetan as well.

I will correct it to Loose.

You will be relieved that i have no real interest in result, but given how long it has been in lists, may be worth checking the original historical reference, as if it is correct it allows a interesting unit to exist
