Theme is armies outside Europe. Rather than list all included armies, it is easier to list those which are excluded.
Excluded Armies
Note: some armies that did fight, or were based outside Europe are being excluded where they are deemed to have too much of a “European Feel”; e.g. Imperial Roman.
No ally from excluded lists can be taken.
Contingents, allied or otherwise, cannot be used if they are of a nation that is an excluded list; e.g. the Ottoman Turkish cannot use the Serbian contingent.
No “sub-lists” where the option is to be in Europe can be taken; e.g. Later Carthaginian in Italy or Spain cannot be taken, but in Africa can be.
