Competition Decorum

Further to Simon's thoughts on competition decorum, I think effort should be made with players appearance. I think many wargamers shabby appearance at the table puts off potential converts.

I think ties would be unnecessary but nicely polish shoes and a well cut jacket would go a long way to improve the games image. Competition points could be deducted for inappropriate dress, clashing colours etc

People should stay in uniform, as is traditional. Persons not wearing paint-stained jeans, a T-shirt with a tournament/convention logo (or at least  a witty remark), plus a pair of regulation ratty trainers w/ white socks should get at least a warning. We have traditions to uphold.

Actually purple ties .... with yellow shirts.... we may yet break out into fashion...
