A Unit of 6 (3 wide 2 deep) Roman Auxilia Palitina armed with darts and short spear, have an embedded Light Ballista when shooting do they get 3 darts and one ballista?

Each file can only shoot once.
So file with ballistae has a choice of shooting weapon.

The lsits only allow Ballista to be embedded in a Legionary Unit, therefore they cannot be added to an Auxilia Palatina unit.

It probably should be clarified but a Ballista should not be capable of being embedded in a re-equipped unit of Legionaries whuch would avoid the whole question in the first place.  There is no evidence that I am aware of for the use of bolt shooters in field armies once the legionary equipment altered.

May be more accurate for the Imperial Roman list ...  :P
