Is there some reason for not allowing triarii into legion TuGs in Pacto?  Keeping the 1/4 allowance of triarii could let 1 of every 2 legions have a 3rd base? Cause 1 base floating seems really bad, and with the new Pacto modifications a few units of 3 bases seems less overpowering than it was in the previous version.

Agreed here. Not sure in larger games, but in Pacto a 1 base TUG that sits behind another TUG seems really unplayable. Im curious to hear more reasoning why this would be a bad idea as maybe im missing something.

Just to bring this up again. Triarii can be one base TUGs behind two TUGs of Hastati. Does this only mean they deploy behind the Hastati initially or that they must stay behind the Hastati for the whole game? How far behind does it mean, in contact for example? The previous post mentioned 3 base TUGs but I don't think that is in the list.

My interpretation is that the 1 base Triari TUGs must be deployed initially anywhere directly behind the Hastati but after that can move just like any other TUG and you would probably want to get them out to the flanks or into the main battle line fairly quickly.

(This is a Pacto only question obviously)
