Just to be sure 100% ? A satrapal army may have a greek ally, either a classical greek ally ( athens for exemple ) or a medizing greek ally ?

The ally is not mandatory medizing  8)

Medizing Greek ally - so no, an Athenian ally is NOT permitted  (the Persians were fighting Athens at the time).

Ok

The army list specify : medizing greek - classical greek.

I suppose the "classical greek" is a remain of ancient army lists books .

I ask the question because I saw an army lists with satrapal persian  + theban ally ...so not possible

nikgaukroger

There may be a problem in that neither the Classical Greek or the Satrapal Persian list define what medizing Greeks really are in terms of options allowed from the CG list.
"The Roman Empire was not murdered and nor did it die a natural death; it accidentally committed suicide."

badhabum

There is a new medizining greek official list

lionheartrjc

Medizing is not mentioned as an option so it gets none of the options mentioned for a specific nation.

Wait, what? The Thebans certainly Medised, and fought for Persia enthusiastically.
Miniature Wargaming is the only completely honorable form of warfare ever invented by man.

Don't panic, Richard's answer allows it - mainly becuase there are no specific Theban options so calling a generic CG medizing ally "Theban" won't imply use of anything special.

OK so now I am have reread it

The Satrapal persian army may have as ally :
Medizing greek allies  - Classical greek ( only 479 BCE  Thrace, Macedon and Greece satrapy only )

I mixed with the Asiatic Greek ....and medizing greek  :-\

The Thessalians Medized for sure. They were at Platea. Surely a contingent of a couple of SuG's of their light cavalry would not be out of order?

You can get 1 SuG of light horse for the ally. Given the ally can only have 4 UGs, that would seem more than sufficient.
