Been having a look at the Scots Irish list. A couple of thoughts/questions came up.

Is this the list for the era of Cuchulain? The contents page says it starts 50BCE the list itself say 50CE.

Assuming it is the right list for him, wouldn't he be a good candidate for something like the Achilles treatment (legendary sub/ally) or perhaps something based around his apparently scythed chariot?

It seems odd that the 24 bases of 'fierce warriors' can only be in units of 6. They are pretty basic average tribal devastating charger types.

But not the norm for that list where the basic warriors are not DC, so I think that is why they get the UG size that the "best" warrior types do in most lists of this type.

Sure, but they are not superior or limited to one unit per command or anything (like such units often are) and the notes suggest they could just be mercenaries in which case the restriction seems odd.

I would also point out that Later Scots Irish has the same basic infantry and the same number of 'fierce warriors' (renamed 'Best' but same classification) and they can have the normal range of unit sizes.

No love for the Irish and their most violent son?
