Hi,

a new project ( one more, i should say :))

the VOLGA BULGAR!
figures from OLD GLORY 15'.painted with contrast paints +inks+classical acrylics for some details (spearpoints, swords, etc ..).

the command stands

nice sculpting for the contrast paints

the first Tug of Boyars

the first Tug of Finno-Ugrian contingent, figures are from OLD GLORY's Viking and Rus ranges, I replaced the spears like on the boyars with small broom bristle brush I found in a gardening store.

More to follow of course ;)

They look great! I m looking for the rest of the army but I m pretty sure I won't wait long!!
Seems you will be (at least) twice readier than me for the month of Byzance when the lockdown will be lifted!!

nikgaukroger

Very nice - useful army as well IMO.

Lanceflint

More lovely figures. Its the sort of thing that brings the hobby to life.
And a very different type of horse archer army too.
Lance.

Thanks for the kind words!

#5
the second TUG of Finno-Ugrian warriors, this time the figures are from Essex Miniatures to add variety.

I took the pictures with a different light to see if they are better.
