The Alexandrian Macedonian list covers the armies of both Philip and Alexander. If the army was run with Philip as the army commander I assume that Alexander, if present, would be best represented by a Talented Sub-general commanding the Companion cavalry. If that is the case can the Agema be upgraded to Exceptional? Or is the upgrade intended to only be possible if Alexander is the Legendary army commander rather than simply 'present'?

Yes, the Agema can be upgraded if Alexander is present as a sub-general.

I have added a note to the 2021 list.  Alexander can be present as a sub-general from 338 BCE.  From 336 BCE, if present he has to be the Army Commander.

Nope - well, unless Richard has added a note allowing it but I doubt it  :o

Hi to all

I assume due to the above that there can be an Alexandrian Macedonian list without Alexander as the C-in-C, correct?
