Timing of KaB tests

Another persnickety question about the timing of actions - this time the end of phase KaB tests. Given this situation:

• Both armies are 1 TuG away from breaking
• Both armies each have 1 TuG near breaking with two reasons to test due to friendly broken TuGs at the end of a phase.

So, do you:

• Roll all KaB tests simultaneously - good chance both armies break simultaneously.
• Active player rolls both KaB tests since they are for the same TuG. If the other army isn't broken, that player rolls both his KaB tests.
• Active player rolls one and only one KaB test. The other player rolls his first test. The first player rolls his second test. Finally the second player rolls his second test. The rolling stops immediately if an army breaks.

I'm guessing #3, even though it feels a bit cumbersome. Happy enough if #1 is correct though!

IIRC when this cropped up before it was stated (Si probably) that tests are alternate with the active player choosing the first one and soon as with all the other cases where order needs to be determined.

This is what the QRS actually says in the turn sequence box at the start of each phase.

So then #3 I take it - alternating 1 KaB test at a time. Thanks for the replies.

Indeed the fall back often is alternate.
