OK -- I have 3 of the PSC hun boxes.  I am curious as to how the figures should be based.  I have figured out that the basic hun archers should be groups of 5 figers - one base of 2 figures and one base of 3 figures.  But there are assorted other figures -- guys with lassos, armoured horse archers, commanders with swords, armoured figures with swords.  How are these based?  What does a general stand look like?  How many generals do I need?

Are the other assorted figures not just that, to brake up the wall of bow

Not being able to actually see the figures, I am waving my hands a bit here...hopefulkly it makes reasonable sense.

You'll be wanting 3 or 4 generals, depending on how many commands you want to have in your army.

How many other figures you put on a base with each general is up to you. You don;t _have_ to have any additional figures, but it might look better if you do, and you can use the additional figures to indicate the quality of the general if you like. This is a question I am wrestling with myself at the moment for my own new army :)

The armoured horse archers would likely be used the Nobles and Followers from the lists, i.s. the Protected rather than Unprotected horse archers.
Armoured figures with swords would probably be used for variety in amongst the Npbles and Followers - they are presumably archers too, they just happen to have their swords in their hands at this precise moment.

Nobles and Followers would always be 3 to a base, because they are Loose formation not Flexible.

Plus: what Shaun said.

If you want to add Heruli or Scirii subjects, or Rugian / Burgundian / Thuringian infantry subjects, the PSC Goth figures might be suitable. (The Franks would I think look a bit more different.)

I think using a variety of figures on bases for armies such as Huns makes them more interesting like Shaun said. Plus definitely pimp up your Commander bases it's fun
