Any suggestions about where to get lodgings on the night of the 29th? Oh, and is the start time set for the 29th? Wondering if I need to get lodgings for the night of the 28th, or will I have time to travel from my brother's house in Kent that morning?

If your brother lives in Kent you will definitely need accommodation on the Friday and Saturday night.

This is where most people stayed last year. We can work out some ride sharing to and from the venue nearer the time.

Probably take 2 to 3 hours to drive from Kent depending exactly where you are - if you're not driving definitely go up the night before.
