Hi,

I was just wondering if a TUG of devastating chargers in front of an enemy TUG that has deployed caltrops has to play a card to stop the forced charge or do the caltrops count as a barricade allowing the exception turning it into a free charge?
Cheers,

They are not barricades so do not turn the forced charge into a free charge - the caltrops do not per se count as barricades, they instead allow the UG behind them to claim barricades combat claims a subtle difference.

However, if you look at the C3 prompted action you will see in the notes that there is the rather useful "Don't have to charge if >= 3 down in charge combat. So if the unit would be >= 3 down in the charge it does not have a forced charge.

My understanding anyway.
