Been away from the painting table recently but got back to it over the weekend. Couple more Nanzhao units completed for my army. Eureka Miniatures figures.

List bounced...

Unit of Nanzhao guard infantry finished. Figures are 15mm (well, 18mm really - they're quite big) from Eureka Miniatures. Another unit where a big shield can hide a multitude of sins  8)

A second unit of the Nanzhao guard infantry. Just changed the colours of the shields for these from the first unit. Somebody asked about the symbol - I got it from here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tian so it is Chinese and probably of no real relevance to Nazhao but it (IMO) looks the part and is easy to do  8)

Elephants for my Nanzhao army - 15mm Khurasan figures from their Siamese range. I can now field a Nanzhao army  ;D Elephants are speculative for the Nanzhao; IIRC they are mentioned but not in a specific combat context. Plausible though in SE Asia.

Will probably go back and add some more detail later but this gets them usable.

Some Naismith Tibetans to be part of an allied contingent for my Nanzhao. Cheap and cheerful figures with a quick paint job.
