"Huscarls (but not thegns) in shieldwall, select fyrd and great fyrd may be mixed in the same TuG of 6,8, or 9 elements. If used, elements of huscarls, select and great fyrd must be easily distinguished."

Does this mean the tug must be containing 1/2 or  1/3 of each or can it  be of any combination?
2/3 select a 1/3 great fyrd for instance 1/2 huscarls and 1/2  of great fyrd

If no proportion is specified then you can mix to your heart's content.
