First unit for a new army. Sacred Band for Early Carthaginian.

Xyston figures with LBMS shield transfers (of course  ;) )

Second unit, Libyan spearmen. Once again Xyston figures and LBMS shield transfers.

Hopefully these are obvious - Numidian cavalry for my Early Carthaginian army c.300 BCE. Xyston figures in 15mm. Reasonably happy with the skin colour - not too dark and not too light; seems about right for these chaps  :)

2 more units of Numidians to complete the ally for my MeG Early Carthaginian army - one of light cavalry and the other of noble cavalry. 15mm Xyston figures. Used some LBMS Carthaginian shield transfers on the noble unit which is probably pushing plausibility, but I think they look nice  :)

Finished a couple of units for my MeG Early Carthaginians. One of Balearic slingers and the other of Libyan javelinmen skirmishers. Xyston 15mm figures. About half way through the army now - need to finish by the end of August when they are due their first run out in a small get together with the theme of armies covered by Duncan Head's "Armies of the Macedonian and Punic Wars"  ;D
