Late Ptolemaic dates BC - AD are wrong. Both are BC second should be AD I think

Nope BCE is correct.

Ends with the Battle of Actium after which Rome took over Egypt.

Battle of Actium - 2 September 31 BCE

After the battle Octavian took Egypt to be his own province (not the Senate's). This meant the revenue from Egypt went directly to him and not to Rome.  A senator had to be granted special permission before they were allowed to enter Egypt.  With this and the death of Mark Antony the last obstacles to becoming Emperor were removed.
