Wondering what the brains trust think of this. Knocked up quickly as a potential for doing a Chinese army.

not bad, a nice offensive cavalry wing...missing shoot and charge to be fully effective, but not bad

Has a bit of a feel of my Nike byzantine desing from ITC.
Think its very nice.

Solid infantry blocking force.
Powerful cataphracts supported by other good cavalry.

My only comment is it feel C&C heavy.
Talented only useful if FM or commanding a big block of 4 which doesn't seem that likely.
Can you get a bit more troops from a bit less C&C?

I like it.  Good army.

Had wondered about that - I tend to design with maybe more command than I may need and then downsize rather than the other way.

Needs one more solid infantry TuG IMHO.

nikgaukroger

I think you are probably correct there.

nikgaukroger

What would you lose to free the points to do it?

There are 204 from the rubbish archer TUG, but then?

Do you need 4 Generals for 9 TuGs?

Are the squirmishers compulsory?

nikgaukroger

Skirmishers aren't compulsory.

Think I'd like 4 generals, but 2 comp and 2 med may be OK.

Certainly a basis for working out what lead I need  ;D

Yes I prefer that.
Stronger infantry centre to work around and you can spare 1 TuG to help cavalry if you need to.
10 discs good enough.
Like it.
