Hi as all things are being adjusted for2020 etc. I just wondered if Anglo-Danish armies should be allowed internal allies ? I would have thought (But don't know for sure) that during that period there would have been a large number of independent Rulers/Chieftains/kings/Warbands etc in different parts of the country that would have fought with and against each other.

This is true of the Anglo-Saxon period, but not really true of the Anglo-Danish period.  By this time England was pretty much one country.  The most powerful lords were pretty independent it is true, but they tended either to be loyal, ignore any summons for help or just rebel - so I don't really see any justification for internal allies.

How about Early Scots having the option of an Anglo-Danish internal ally (Under Edger Aetheling) after 1068, lots of political refugees fled there?
