Just been indulging in some list surfing and saw what I thought was an unusual feature in the Almoravid list.

They have a compulsory 6 skirmishing crossbow  - maximum 9.
It seemed unusual as they have the option for 45 skirmishing Berber javelinmen but none are compulsory.

I don't know much about Almoravid history (apart from seeing El Cid a few times) but were a limited amount of skirmishing crossbow a core or invariable part of their armies?

Blimey, I've been looking at that list and had automatically read it as 0 minimum  :o

Has to be a mistake - no justification that springs to mind.

Also features in the following Almohad list as well - no doubt as one formed the base for the other and was edited  :D

A list at Skulls got through the list Czars without them as compulsory.

Nik or I will ping RJC and get it confirmed.

It is indeed an error.  Will update the errata.

List Czar on the ball then!
Dishonour before defeat!

You're a visionary. You knew it was wrong.
