Shield covers upgrades your armour level so from frotected to FARM

So it is specidifed that it would not affect ART

But what about firearms or PB/Xbow at or less than 1 BW shooting as if they shoot at FARM INF , the FARM is ignored ?

So it seems logical that shield cover is ignored by fireweapons and the PB/Xbow at short range when the protection is raised to FARM

Is it correct ?

If your armour level is FArm then unless an exception is specified then the rules applying to FArm will apply.

If protected upgraded to FARM level, FARM rules apply when shooting so FARM is not efficient vs ART/Fireweapons/ PB&Xbow at or less 1 MU

Indeed. The rule (p126) even says that shield cover has no benefit against artillery.
