Hello,

The list of Subject tribes states that :
Subject tribesmen may be incorporated into an Incan command or be placed in a separate internal allied contingent of a specific tribe (Chincha, Collas, Cunti, Chimu or Canari).  If
used only in an allied contingent, the maxima number of bases is doubled.

The Canari have no option to upgrade, is there a specific reason?

Do you mean upgrade as per their own separate list ?

Agoz

Are you saying there is not a Canari subject tribesmen option? Because there is, its "Chanka (from 1440 CE) or
Canari (1490 CE) warriors"

Can someone translate : canari are spear but there is no option to upgrade them to spear the answer being canari guardsmen

It's a 42 ?

lionheartrjc

All in the answer to the meaning of life!

There probably should be an option to upgrade Canari spearmen, but there isn't....

Jilu

well could it not be corrected?

Not planning any changes until 2028 unless they are essential. This doesn't meet that threshold.

I'm kind of lost as well, the best I can guess is that Canari warriors is the actual Canari list have the option to be upgraded to protected, but the Canari warriors in the subject tribesmen section of the Incan list don't have that option. Is that the point of contention here?

lionheartrjc

I believe so.  It is an inconsistency which I didn't pick up on in the 2026 lists.
