I have updated list set 54 (Kings of the North) in the draft list sets to include improved history notes.  I hope over then next two years to extend these to other list sets.

This is a really encouraging development, but Richard this is a HUGE task you are taking on. Might you not wish for a few brave but foolhardy volunteers to join a committee to help? I don't value my skills as a historian highly enough to volunteer to re-write the notes, but I could perhaps be of some use carrying out some drudgery finding historical references to help those wiser than myself.
Miniature Wargaming is the only completely honorable form of warfare ever invented by man.

If anyone wants to produce equivalent information for specific army lists I would very much welcome assistance.  Can be a single army list.  Simplest way is to supply as a two column table, one for rulers, one for campaigns and battles.  Just let me know what list or lists you would plan to tackle (so I can coordinate).  As you point out, it is a huge task, but I think it would prove a valuable resource.  The way to eat the elephant is with single bites!

Might be worth setting up a separate discussion area.  I am asking for "Historical Enemies" section to be renamed "Historical Notes".
