This summer at Skull Rollers will be my first Ancients tourney in Britain. At most US events, gamers bring troops, terrain, and other supplies for sale, often at a 'flea market'. Is this also common at UK events? Will there be such goings-on at Skull Rollers?

I have decided to look for an Early Imperial Roman army, if I can find one nicely painted for sale at a reasonable price, or maybe just buy the lead and paint it myself. Is Skull Rollers a good place to look?

I also wonder, since I'll be in-country 2 weeks if some of the manufacturers allow you to go to their 'factory floor' to buy troops and save shipping. I would be interested in FiB particularly, but others as well.

Thanks!
