Very true Richard. I have yet to use stakes with my English longbowmen.😊

I have seen some players use them quite effectively in an offensive fashion with drilled archers, where placing stakes is a green move, and thus can be part of double move.

Me too it happen's regularly when the PG are drilled

True, noting there are more formed PB than drilled that also have to take stakes and are not quite as nimble.

You just need a very few to do it and win :-)

well taht is the troubles wwith stakes, to easy to place and remouve them.
Makes them an offensive weapon that is contrary to how it was used.

It is Jilu, and I am not particularly convinced by that either.

However, using the same immovable rule as for barricades would probably be detrimental to the gameplay of "come get your points", don't you think ?
