Hi,

Reading the topic on the Trojan war I discovered that internal allies need to have a minimum of 2 units and up to 4.
In the medieval Burgundian list the French internal ally can only be a single unit of knight. No other combination allowed.
How can I achieve the 2 minimum units under the ally command?

Thanks.

In this case, and similar ones, there is no requirement to have 2 units under the ally.

This is because the rules on an allied contingent (which are in each list PDF) state "Where an internal ally is allowed, and no contingent is specified they must conform to the following rules:"

My emphasis in bold.

So where a contingent is specifically listed in a list, as the French in the Medieval Burgundian you just use the troops listed in whatever numbers are allowed.
"The Roman Empire was not murdered and nor did it die a natural death; it accidentally committed suicide."
