If a 2 wide UG charges the middle 2 bases of a 6 wide line, all 6 are within 1 BW of the path of charge and can shoot?

badhabum

So the 2 BW charging TUG will hit the 2 center bases of the 6 wide defender .

So as you may shoot at chargers that comes within ONE MU at least 4 defenders could shoot

If the chargers do not aim correctly and hit 3 bases ( something that happens frequently ) , 5 bases will be able to shoot as the firing arc is 1 BW from the shooting bases

The arc rules should say less than 1BW.  Not within 1BW.  This is the intention and how it is played and has clearly been missed ever since day 1.

Will correct as we have the opportunity to do so.

Can the end 2 files of the 6 wide block draw an uninterrupted line to the path of charge without passing though friends from each of its 2 front corners at 1 BW distance?

That's a good question.

Does a line grazing the edge of a base pass through that base, or not?

Moot given that Richard has been sensible.

Sorry not being native I fail to grasp the difference in gaming terms

nikgaukroger

Within as defined in the glossary - "At that distance or nearer."

So this includes exactly at 1 BW whilst "less than 1 BW" doesn't include exactly at 1 BW.
