Was doing a little reading on these and came across a fun website http://dragonsarmory.blogspot.com/2017/02/medieval-chinese-cataphracts-1-iron.html

States that:
Quote赵彦卫 Zhao Yanwei, a Song chronicler wrote: "The horsemen would make use of a deep wedged array, after plunging into the ranks of their foes would promptly retreat in a burst of speed, all the while arranging itself to stalk or encircle the enemy formation in a circular array for a while, while keeping an eye for another opportunity for a charge, and if situation demanded, they would dismount and fight as heavy infantry."

and

QuoteSong records states that in the Battle of Jinzhen Pass 仙人关之战 around Shanxi, the Iron Pagodas dismounted and then drew up formation in rows and advanced in infantry formations. This is reflected in their equipment~ as most are equipped with not only bow and quiver for counter firing, they were also equipped with heavy two handed chopping blades against enemy armored targets.

I wonder if, based on this, they should have an option for dismountable. Presumably losing their dev charger and shove but with 2HCC rather than longspear.

I recall looking briefly at this some time ago. Can't recall if there was a problem when going back to the source material (assuming I found it) or it just got forgotten about.
"The Roman Empire was not murdered and nor did it die a natural death; it accidentally committed suicide."

Not a big deal. Just thought it was interesting. Not sure I would want to pay for dismountable anyway (they are already so expensive!)

Be nice to include it if it is justified though - optional characteristic.
"The Roman Empire was not murdered and nor did it die a natural death; it accidentally committed suicide."

Perhaps one for the next update
