Tickets are not yet on sale but this will allow you to start planning should you be so inclined.

In terms of when tickets will be on sale the BHGS say on their site:

"Well... A couple of weeks ago we were confidently planning to put Roll Call tickets on sale on the BHGS website before Christmas, however... given the current uncertainty over Omnicron etc our plan is now to hold off on releasing Roll Call tickets for a little while longer until things (hopefully) become clearer in regard to any potential restrictions that may or may not be in effect going into the early part of 2022."

In the spirit of Christmas we shall excuse them not being able to spell Omicron

Look we have to plan the travell and ask holydays at work  as we cannot just leave on saturday morning to get there ..If too late too late !

I will only know what at work on monday

Ambiorix

Humm, yes only 1 place left for MEG and REG.

As I count 10 (!) competitions, how many places are being allocated to MEG  (as I do not want to cross the Channel for
only a tiny event of for example 10 players....cannot find the numbers on the website, only remaining places.
Is the total number flexible or set in stone ?

nikgaukroger

The MeG allocation was 28 places.

There are "waiting list" tickets available that will be used by the organisers to use up any spaces that become available and could increase the numbers in MeG (or any of the other comps being played).

Thx Nik, wow - 28 !

Ok, of course waiting list is difficult if you have to book travel arrangements, but lets see what we can do this weekend...
I presume I cannot have the option to already 'reserve' a ticket ?

Ambiorix

Ok, just secured the last 28th ticket  :) making the tournament a bit more international  ;)

By the way a simple question : when will they decide if they open slots ( if any possible ) or will it only be if someone cannot come and resells it's icket ? Coming from outside UK means I need to be able to travell and have an hotel + some £ ...so just asking
