My main opponent, and the only one in our club who knows the rules, is of the opinion that if you place a village then you can place a boundaried field any where.  Fair enough.  He is also of the opinion that if your opponent places a village you can place a boundaried field.  Is that right.

The QRS says a maximum of 1 boundaried field per village or town.  It doesn't make any other restrictions.
