1. Does a unit carrying pavises and being in orb formation have cover and "+1 in charge combat vs infantry" all around?

2. Can it shoot in all directions?

Read page 207 for the explanation of cover.  It doesn't aoply all around.

The target must always be ahead of the shooter. (page 156).  No exception for Pavise.

Orb - the formation that just keep giving ...

As an orb has no flanks it does rather imply that if it is shot at it will always count as being shot at/fought against from the front and so Pavise would apply.

As for shooting I think the bases shoot as they are on the table - so only to the front of shooting files.

What about the +1 charge bonus against infantry? If it works all around, the same should go for cover - either they are behind those pavises or not.

If shooting is restricted to the actual front (which makes sense as to not make the orb too powerful), I think forming of the orb should include the possibility to change the unit's facing.
