Hi the units that can charge and shoot do they only shoot in the charge phase ?
Also why choose cantabrian / African I know your shooting is better but especially for skirmish
makes it harder to escape being caught by chargers ?
Ps does cantabrian and African upgrade your shooting even if you run away ?

Shoot and charge troops can fire in other phases. Charge only shooters only shoot in the charge phase.
As for Cantabrian and African it depends on the type of troops you are skirmishing with. Very effective against foot if you are mounted.
You do not get the benefits if you run away.
