Given the hoplite armies tended to attach with their right wing (because as Thucydides 5.71 and elsewhere noted), in part because the hoplite soldiers tended to press close to their right neighbour to bring their "uncovered side as close as possible to the shield of the man stationed on his right".

I wondered if for the Greek hoplite lists, if we should consider they are allowed to make their first compulsory choice OPEN TERRAIN, RIGHT FLANK (ie don't select/roll, the choice is made). This would encourage tactics more similar to that of the historical Greeks.

Just an idea to create more historical tactics/look.
