A situation occured during a PACTO game.
My 2 base cavalry unit charged a flexible TUG cavalry unit that was in 'skirmish' formation.

This flexible TUG 'Skirmish' unit ran away but ended up hitting his rear table edge, my charging cavalry unit, managed to catch them, charging this unit in the rear ?.

1) Is that flexible unit classed as a TUG or a SUG whilst being in 'skirmish' formation when hitting its own rear table edge ?.
2) If in 'skirmish' formation what happens when contacted, is it classed as a SUG, and immedeatly destroyed, or is it classed as a TUG ?.
3) What happens ?
