Included QRS versus Download QRS

So, had the first game with Compendium MeG yesterday. I was using the QRS included in the box and, man, I was really slowed down! I had become so used to the old layout and color scheme that the new one threw me for a loop and I keep flipping it over and over looking for things!  :o

So I've printed out the Downloadable QRS, as it is easier to use based on years of practice with it!

Just an observation, not a complaint. New players will not experience this at all. Maybe even other experienced players don't. Maybe it's just me.

Anyway, I hope there are no material differences between the download and printed versions.

I think everyone will like what they are used to.

That said, as you may have seen from the pictures I posted to FB of our first battle under Compendium, we used the new cards and wound/slow counters. I really like the new card backs. Very well designed. We did not even bother to pick them up for pictures and the do not really clutter the field when placed next to the generals. And same for the counters. At first I thought they were a bit large, but after using them have decided they are pretty much perfect!

Superior job, guys!

Simon,

I tried to send an email to your address in the Compendium but it bounced. My email is related to this theme. Is there another way I can contact you without using the public forum?

Cheers,

Steve

I have run out of time to email you today but will have a go tomorrow.

I also tried this email as a test and got a bounce back the following day. Want to get that fixed asap I suggest.

Still waiting on my compendium here in Australia but that is interesting. I had assumed we'd continue to have the same product as it worked so well.

Ditto! Si can you confirm?

Also might be worth putting a PDF of the PSC-version QRS up on the downloads as well, so people can print off extra copies of whichever style they like. (As Rob notes, probably new players will be fine with the new-style, while vets may take a while to shift across)

I'll check it this week. I think there is a bit of wording improvement here and there.
I can update it now as have the PDFs from PSC which we canals use for translation.
