Does the CPZ restriction apply on position at start of a turn or at any point you enter a CPZ.  ie can a unit zip across the CPZ if it starts outside limit, or is it under the restriction from the point in its move it enters until it leaves.  In the image can B ignore the CPZ and move behind A

Applies as soon as a unit enters.

And therefore does it stop when you leave, my son, being a sneaky teenager said, if I move past, but not beyond the base line then wheel, with M3 move , I leave the CPZ and can then move behind the line, I told him to stop being a rule lawyer, but it did raise a question is it possible, was I being overly critical, see second diagram. with the position halfway through the move outside the cpz

If at any point, any part of the move  is in the CPZ,  ...use the rule  no going behind the ennemy's front line ...

Thus it only applies when in the restricted zone ...

Needs to read 'in or passing through this turn' for extra precision.
But no you can't.  Once you are in one at all you are restricted by it.
Hence the diagrams which would not be correct otherwise.

Apologies, I quite forgot to take the diagrams into account - a foolish omission 

Always amazes me what pops up when new players come into the game and things we thought were OK are found to be not quite as tight as we thought

And Kudos on a great set of rules, my son, who normally just plays warhammer, picked them up within a game or two, The rules look complex when you first see the manoeuvre table, but in actuality  it makes it much easier to pick up.

I have only been playing since March, got one game in before lockdown, so my son got pressured into trying them, and is now also a convert.

I hope the lockdown ends soon, had my name down for  a few tournaments this year, and will probably drag him along.

We live near Sandhurst so not far from a few of the tournaments.

Excellent.  Sounds like Warfare and Ascot if all goes well. I am hoping to host a comp and a boot camp run by me if all goes well.
