MeG Australia / Any players in Melbourne?
December 02, 2025, 01:28:23 PM
Hi there,

Are there any people in Melbourne who play MeG on a regular basis?
There might be a move to Australia in my future...
Cheers

Yeah, why not? It's easier to remember anyway and none of us are getting any younger...  :P

Well, valid point. I've alway wondered why just one UG in a horse archer army could have feigned flight. Seemed odd to me.

It would help to to stop people from diging in and turning a battle into a siege.

Let's test this. Could be quicker.

Again, good for speeding up play

Indeed. Or maybe we could add an incentive for controlling the river?

Quote from: badhabum on October 05, 2025, 07:33:27 PMInflict an automatic wound for any flank/rear charge ( per charge ) to reflect surprise, reorganisation . The aim is to speed up the game and be a good reason to protect your flanks

I've seen this work really well in ReG, and I'mm in favor of it!

Harsh, painfully realistic. I'd love to try it!

A ce stade, est-il clair qui sont les concurrents, quelle armée ils amènent et peut-être aussi qui joue contre qui au premier tour ?

All in all an interesting idea that I'd like to test with my Galatians at some point!

List Queries / 5715 - Medieval Polish with allies
February 10, 2025, 09:27:46 AM
Hi,
List 5715 has me confused where it comes to allies:
'Lithuanian allies - Later Lithuanian (from 1386 CE) - Lithuanian allies are commanded by a sub-general not an ally general. They cannot be hesitant or unreliable.'
1) Does that mean I can pick troops from the Later Lithuanian list 5714 (of course in line with the normal ally rules), with the rule for internal allies of having to take quota from the mandatory stuff from 5715 NOT being applicable?
2) Do the already available numbers of Lithuanians in the 5715 list in any way influence my choice of the numbers from the Lithuanian external ally who is not an ally but a sub?
3) Do I read this correctly, I can then still take another ally who actually counts as one, for example Hungarians?

It all looks very interesting, but also a bit confusing.
Please help?
Cheers
Huub
