I've told you in person in Nottingham, Richard, but I'm happy to go on record with it: BLOODY MARVELOUS, THANK YOU!

I'll go even if it's an open tournament  :)

For our UK friends, Bornel is near Paris

And for our Greek friends too, it is still near Paris!
 ;D

Je viendrai aussi.

Order is not an issue.  As long as the move finishes legally and the gap between the TuGs is sufficient fot the front edge of the moving TuG there is no problem, passing through a friend as part of the move is okay.  Think wheeling a TuG out of a line of TuGs as another example.

Richard

Thanks Richard. That's the clear answer I needed!

Proximity of the enemy was not the issue this time. Still far away. Point of discussion was the order, which was relevant to be able to manoeuvre a tug trough a narrow gap between two friendly tugs.

Simple indeed, and I think we agree. Meanwhile it has possibly given some people the idea to include them while they might not have thought of it before.
Really the only purpose of this post.... ;)

Yep, that's an easy one. But sometimes 'chariot' seems to be synonymous with 'biblical' + Chinese. What to do then?

Cheers, I'll look into it.

Lowland Gallic armies can have up to 24 chariots. Do they therefore qualify for chariot tournaments?
Discuss...  ;D

Hi,
A question: would it be possible to add 1 or more earlier Mid- or Northern European civilisations we can use before 500 BC?
Maybe the Hallstatt Celts or something Scandinavian?
Cheers

Un thème AAA ... j'espère qu'il y aura de la bière sans alcool.

Et une bouteille de vin... par personne. (désolé, blague interne de la délégation belge)

And I'll be there too! Getting on the same plane.  ;D

List Queries / Re: 5515 Burgundian Ordonnance

Ok, a follow-up question:

What's the consideration for downgrading both the pikemen (to combat shy) and the longbowmen (to unskilled) in this set-up?

Given the line 'The mounted archers were ordered on occasion to combine with pikes in a mixed formation' I assume those longbowmen are the otherwise Mounted Ordonnance Longbowmen? They are normally experienced powerbow.
The pikemen are presumably the Ordonnance pikemen? They are normally not combat shy.

Do they cramp each other's style, or what is the motivation for the downgrade, if you don't mind me asking?
