Is it not the same as permiting the dismountable 2hc foot

they needed 2 hands to use the weapon (as the name says) so how could they use it while mounted ?

Would it not be better make a change in the wording of dismountable 'no use of weapons' or 'no ue of impact weapons' for foot using dismountable ?

As I play Cyrenean Greek and use the Dismountable rule in tournaments can I ask?

Why was the special rule about the Long spears only used on the Cyrenean Greek and none of the other lists that have Long spear, shield cover, dismountable foot??

As the early Ming list only permits only 4 light gun bases i understand if I pick the regimental gun option I can only have 4 tugs with suchs guns.

or can I make more than 4 tugs with the regimental gun options ?

This does refer to intercepts and countercharges as well as skirmish/run away - they are mentioned to allow UGs who declare charges against UGs who subsequently intercept/countercharge to wheel to follow them.

IMO it is clear that a change of direction from the indicated charge path can only happen if it is needed to contact enemy. If you would contact them on the declared path you cannot change direction. Therefore, the Gauls in the diagram could not wheel as they will contact along their declared charge path.

In our game the countercharged was used to manouver the receiving unit so the charger could only contact one base

IMO the charger based on the above rule should be permited to change his path as to contact more than one base

3. Chargers will move in the direction marked, wheeling onto the line of charge at the beginning
of their charge, and markers are removed (put them somewhere tidy) with one exception:
3.1. They may alter their direction if by so doing they can catch, or are attempting to catch,
any UG that has moved position since their charge was declared due to a run away,
skirmish, intercept, or countercharge. The change of direction may not exceed the limit
of a 90° wheel at the beginning of a charge.

As I see from the Draft lists the Thracians in Hellenistic armies are re classified from devastating charges/ Melee expert to
charge only jav, short spear, melee expert

Following some conversations with our Greek team I would like to propose that the charge only jav be change to unskilled or exp jav, shoot and charge (the shoot and charge being an optional characteristic), short spear, melee expert

Hi All

I have a question in regards to pursuit.

I had a tug of cavalry (Mt PA) fighting to its front with a tug of enemy cavalry CL/ME (since round A).

On the next turn (round B) a second tug of enemy cavalry CL/ME charges me on my flank and break my tug in the charge phase.

As per the rules my opponents opts not to pursuit with his 2 tugs.

In the movement phase he wishes to move the first (fighting since round A) of his 2 tug which was in combat with me from the previous round, while the one that charged in current round cannot move as it charged.

My question is can he move the first tug or is it considered as pursuing as well as the tug that charged (even though its a CL)?
