Draft 2024 Thracians in Hellenistic armies

Hi All

As I see from the Draft lists the Thracians in Hellenistic armies are re classified from devastating charges/ Melee expert to
charge only jav, short spear, melee expert

Following some conversations with our Greek team I would like to propose that the charge only jav be change to unskilled or exp jav, shoot and charge (the shoot and charge being an optional characteristic), short spear, melee expert

Hi John,

Could you give an insight into why you (and others) feel that is more appropriate please. I am guessing that you feel that any missile throwing was not just associated with the charge (obvious I guess  ).

I see a lot of merit in allowing an option for Unskilled Javelin, optional Shoot & Charge as an alternative to Charge Only Javelin.  I would be happy to add this.

I hope you will keep the Charge Only option though? In many ways it is better than Unskilled Jav, Shoot and Charge
