How does it work about shooting ?
So we have keils of 12 bases and may put 3 SK bases in the keil so I suppose upgrade 3 of the 12 bases
So only one file shoots?
With the 3 skirmishers in the same file or does it create 3 shooting bases that could shoot on black so the whole front would shoot ?
I have not verified the lists modifications but the Maximillian list allows 3 SK per upgraded unit and the Italian only 2 or has it been modified

Which one the all in one file or give each file a black die the last being the easiest ( and why only 2 bases for the Italian states )

choice is yours, there is no limitation set by the lists.
as to Italian list, probably a hang over from pre-12 keil sizes.
Ok but if 1 in one file there is no shooting if we say it is a SK ..so the question remains HOW DOES IT WORK
Why would you treat the base as a skirmisher for shooting?
The bases are Drilled Close with Experienced Firearm shooting capability and so are not skirmishers and thus follow the normal rules for non-skirmishers shooting. If they are in 1 rank they will get the usual colour downgrade for not being in 2 ranks.
So we agree on : 3 SUG bases to transform 3 TUG bases ( frontal ) as a one rank deep shooting base ( black dice ) and Italian state should also state 3 SK bases and not 2

not until RJC confirms its a list issue and not intentional. till then 2 is 2

Indeed. Looks like it needs an errata, but until that happens you are restricted to 2 bases - unless your opponent agrees otherwise of course, what consenting players do between themselves in private is not our concern.
Also, whilst I
think the intention is just a single rank of Firearm equipped bases, at present there is no restriction as to how you deploy them as Matt mentioned yesterday.
Everyone seems to be reading things into this that aren't written. In the Maximillian list 3 skirmishers can be replaced by 3 TuG bases. In the Italians States list 2 skirmishers can be replaced by 2 TuG bases. They can be in a single file or in several files.
Okay, there might be an argument that says I might have updated one list and not the other.... If so I will issue an errata.

I think as I was not alone to wonder that the problem is when you write a rule ( or orders, directions ...) you must always remember that other people who will read it might have another interpretation
I understood that 3 SUG bases would be "integrated" in the TUG and logically do to the front 8)
But now we have an answer
