Had the utmost please in losing to Pete E and his experienced, shoot and charge, Chinese battle chariots yesterday.
Now I see how they are meant to work.
Superb. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Firstly: They shoot at my evading chariots, causing wounds and taking bases, which diminishes your ability to return fire, because their shots count as before the evaders response fire.
Secondly, they cause multiple slows, which means my skirmish and evade rolls were brought right down as they are experienced shooters, not the usual inexperienced, then....
SMACK!
You get caught if you don't have the cards to buy through.

Richard's Assyrian shoot and charge chariots made a bit of a mess of my centre...I hadnt really thought them through and was a bit shocked
