During a recent game, my opponent deployed an infantry TUg in single rank - and claimed integral archers for all.  Is there no minimum depth for this characteristic ?  and should there be ?

There isn't a minimum depth.

IMO, no to the other question.

Not really as they are usually mixed in with the bases.
Spreading them thin is very risky one many front though - missile fire at them, holes in line being created.
Now did they do?

Had not seen it done before. The rules did not state a minimum depth so just checking we had got it right.  Si, it did not save them - charged down by two TUGs of melee expert save ... bye bye

Simon Meg-Meister

Perhaps there should be a minimum depth?
Willow ponder ..
But risks of going one deep rather compensate IMO.

I think logically there really should be a minimum depth of two bases - as per shieldwall, LTS etc.
Players would rarely be one deep by choice, but a 'tired' unit that has some files one deep does gain a bit of a benefit.
However it is not an essential change.

Agree in theory a good thing but in practice not needed. No change.
