Boards and swords has been I think first week of February,
Derventio in March

Pretty sure there was an earlier Ribble Rumble but cant remember when.

This year the first Ribble event was the Out of the Dark Ages one in February and Derventio was the first one at Boards and Swords in March.

BTW, as it is worth considering, the geographical spread this year has not been too bad IMO - reasonable north/midlands/south spread.

Well, apart for those coming from Scotland of course  :P

On which would there be mileage in looking to have a Scots comp at a suitable place in the calendar? I know the idea was mooted this year but IIRC the proposed date clashed.

On behalf of the Scots, we are very keen to hold a tournament. I am sure we would fit it into any gap n the calendar that would allow a reasonable attendance.

With regard to dates for what was last years 'Out of the Dark Ages' . At moment thinking a tad earlier around Fall of the Roman Empire, also dates for said event need to take into account  Brussels 2020, so possibly 3 week gap to allow peoples wallets to recover   :) ;)

Rumble 2020 dates to be confirmed but more likely to be November, I will chat with the organisers to see if October is a option. Plus looking to put on some ReG tournaments, so a bit to sortout
