Hi Folks,

I'm looking for accounts of the The Battle of Montlhéry 1465, during the War of the Public Weal in English (yep, I'm aware of Wikipedia  :) ).

Better still, a wargames scenario of some sort that I could maybe translate- that to go along beside my research?

If you can help- or are exceptionally good at translating French, please do get in touch. with via PM where I can send you my email address if necessary.

have the Historic'one, Les Batailles Oubliees, Montlhery 1465 book (in French)- if any intrepid French speakers would be happy to translate (yeah, I know that is a very long shot but I'm desperate!). Have you looked at Philippe de Commynes "Memoirs: The Reign of Louis XI 1461-83"? There is an English translation done in the 1970's which you can find 2nd hand (I got it for about a fiver). Mind you, the details of the battle are confusing - it wasn't straight forward.
"The Roman Empire was not murdered and nor did it die a natural death; it accidentally committed suicide."
