Keil and "as if" flank charge

If a legal keil formation is flank charged, the charger does not get the +4, nor the subsequent +2 for being in the flank . That's easy

Now the file fight with one base "as if" facing the charger one rank deep .

A lone pike rank cancels mounted CL, LS,SSP and DC .

So we got 2 readings

"As If" means it will cancel it as itas the pike base is considered facing the mounted

"As if" does not cancel it 

What is the right solution ?

Treat the flank charge as if it is fighting a single rank of pike.  So a single rank cancels mounted CL, LSp, SSp and DC.

Seems very clear to me.
