Charges flowchart

Hi,
just starting to learn the game, I though I will prepare some flowchart, to help me.
In the attached file, I tried to include all the rules for forbidden, forced and free charges in a single chart. Everything that is not covered by the chart is a prompted charge.
Any comment/correction is welcome.

I would point out a slight mistake . Missile focused DC never do have forced charges . It's FREE CHARGE . The big difference with CL

Hey Claudio,

I noticed two  points in your chart :

• Missile-focused DC (but not CL, do not ask me why, no idea ^^) have free charge in conditions that would result in a forced charge were they not missile-focused
• Answering "yes" to any question in your "big block" means the UG has a free charge nevertheless

Looking at the flow chart and thinking about the "simplicity" of the rules

OK it made me think and who knows someone might read my post and explain the logic :

- CL do have forced charges ( I know not vs nellies, in terrain ...but let us KISS it for now )
- CL charge only shooter do have forced charges
- CL with unskilled or better bow, crossbow, javelins  do not have forced charges,nor free charges so must pay for the charges
- DC do have forced charges
- DC charge only shooter do have forced charges
- DC with unskilled oe better bow,crossbow,javelins do not have forced charges but do get free charges

Somewhere I fail to see the logic of the difference between CL and DC when they do shoot and it is not charge only ?

There is no logic, it is an accident created along the way. We have already decided to harmonise it in v2.

There aren't that many examples in the lists.  I am looking at either Charge Only or dropping the missile weapon altogether for CL/DC cavalry for most.  One or two might lose the CL/DC and become SSp instead.
